Small Soft Lump Dog's Tail
The average sailor when it arrives in a beautiful bay looking for his corner, one square, check out the iron, it makes the bath, then dinner, and finally ruhmettino sleep. Such
sleep. Yes, because the weather is good, the wind is weak, the starry sky and the bay hugs you gently.
Williwaw: winds of fall, speeding in the valleys of the mountains, down to the sea to vent their strength with unusual cruelty and sadism.
... Now we are at the moment when, under the starry sky of the Caribbean, the book is falling from my hand. It 's time to turn off the light, embrace my snoring Simo and thoroughly.
support the book and .... UuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuu.
I turn off the light and ... ... .. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHUUUUUFFFFIIIUUUUU
... Then hug the air of fear because Simo.
From a valley in front of the beach comes a cry innocent type uuuUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRHRHRHHHHHHHHHHRHRHRHHHHHIIIIIIIIIUUUUUUUUuuuuuu ... ..
5 seconds of total silence and stillness and then ... comes another TGV. ... just get on the track!
uuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUU ... .. ....
Kudra part in a crazy tilt of 50 meters to go!
Luckily the leadership of Colombia that we rely body and soul told us: look to Williwaw!
And we, as good sailors we gave the bottom 80 meters of chain in 4 feet of water.
Finally here we are, under the sheet off his nose, saying, miiiinchia, get this blast will be 45 knots. " This
the first night.
I tell you just that we only slept last night, four days later, with 100 meters of chain, 2 anchors and gusts appennellate well over 60 knots from all directions.
I try to explain.
What is impressive is not so much the wind, as the speed with which comes and goes. Instant
. In the true sense of the word. When he gets a
Williwaw seize is like a slap from the nano while you slept. You wake up immediately and badly.
Williwaw When he goes to leave so devoid of air movement and noise that it is as if you were to miss the force of gravity, such as elevator down. Another unpleasant sensation
... And all this back and forth continues, minute by minute, for hours. Actually lasts all night.
The noise is then doubled by the fact that ogni drizza vicina all’albero è destinata a suonare come una corda di violino pizzicata da un metallaro e amplificata da Vasco.
Tentententententententen…sdangsdangsdang…tling tlingtling…
Finally
falls within the bed. After 30 seconds
comes another barrage. At this point, the sounds you hear are boring now ... sometimes n-1 n-2, but what is the year-old?
So the choice is prepared psychologically and so, after the burst, still working on deck!
And when you're on deck in total darkness of a dark bay, and are attached to the forestay with both hands, to make sure the anchor and chain are working well, what you see is beautiful: the
'water sparks of shining path of the chain, huge hard in an effort to keep the boat together, and still draws the path of Kudra trying to break free from the power of the wind. Good night ....
uuuuuUUUUUuuuuu ...!!!!!

Part 2: Colombia.
expectations on Colombia at the time to sail from Bonaire, were very high.
Colombia is synonymous with friendly people and smiling, beautiful coasts and ... safe. It is because, unlike Venezuela, Colombia and effectively fight hard drugs and then nipped the proliferation of piracy and any other illegal activity. ... Bla bla bla ... is it true? So salute
Nicolandra and we are moving.
arrived on the coast now it feels good, nature, mountains, people smiling. Other Venezuelan terror that! A
Cabo dellaVela have the first taste of Colombia, but we get to 5 bays to enter the magic of the South American continent.
5 beautiful fjords, lush vegetation and lots to see. We are in Tyron Park, which stretches from the sea on the high mountains beyond. Arriving we have also seen snow on the highest peaks!
I close this post here, a little 'trunk, because we plan to spend a few months in the country (Kudra will just throw in Cartagena) and wandered a bit' here and there.
addition, the photos taken are few and ugly. I intend to do better than more ...
then I will tell you of our Colombia.
The expectations are higher!

Part 1: Navigation - February 8 to 24
During the period of maximum strength of trade winds, ie between January and March, the waters of Colombia become a kind of amusement park roller coaster did not finish and a lot of wind. This shift of about 450 miles is considered one of the five most challenging of a tour of the tropical world. The anecdotes are extremely numerous, frightened crew and boats dismasted, twenty powerful, so incredibly high and steep.
All with sea voyages were smooth, the wind is 10 to 25 knots from the garden to the rear. Current for almost forever.
We been enjoyed. We also spotted two whales! Terms
strong emotions ... but we were when we were at anchor at 5Bays (see prox. Post) and then navigating to that paradise to Punta Hermosa, 55 miles crossing the mouth of a major river (currents, etc. ... ..)
We left the mooring and 35 knots with gusts of 45 to 5min, waves of 2-3m (or very small ...).
sea-air missiles launched at the garden ... Kudra 3man with mainsail and 1 / 3 genoa spinnaker pole. Speeds from fear, glides long to well over 15 knots. Average nearly nine knots on a beautiful seas and quite easy.
To help trim the sail had emptied (200 kg) and left empty the water tanks in the dining area. In short, all weights at the stern.
Kudra thanked with an extremely stable structure and a rudder duretta.
The worst point of sailing is when the ocean waves meet the muddy water coming out of billions of tons per second from the Rio Magdalena and get up in the walls difficult to ride.
We passed safely with very little air and no danger. The river in this period is seccherello and has little influence on the ocean. Impressive then change water color, very clear, from deep blue to brown thick. Spectacle of nature.
And now here we are in the port of Cartagena, a beautiful city, waiting for Fabio and Camilla before heading out to explore San Blas.
sailors soon!

Will Ss Bumper Fit Lt Cobalt
course write things so intimate is not easy. But I'll try to imprint a characteristic of scientific and especially Bergamo mezzoingegnere half not.
The problem is all of upwind and downwind. And thank goodness they exist, otherwise it would solve at least half the problem.
Sibillino? Now
get there, quiet.
You know what a boat anchor? No? Then you are not my friends ...
Well, anchor the boat is almost always head to wind.
Follow the reasoning ...
The main characteristic of windward / leeward and relativity. Or that the top and bottom are relative to something or someone. I'm upwind of you, the cockpit is the leeward bow
... But then, where did we put tons of used diapers ????????? Above or downwind of our noses?
Those of you who have children will have already framed the problem: not esiste una famiglia serena se i genitori non sono almeno campioni regionali di apnea.
In un primo momento si provò Italian disposal, or put on his special waste in the middle of the normal sweep, under the sink.
Total Bankruptcy: next to drum-sweeps the motor of the refrigerator, always on, accelerating the release of deadly fumes.
Using the CPR parents as a couple could then move the pannolo mephitic in a suitable container ... the bin tin survival at sea.
exhausted cans of € 500 each but the problem is revisited.
The second solution was to stow SpA cubic meters of mmmm .... Parfum mystic in a normal plastic bag, and then along with all the other sweep in the locker to extreme poppa, sotto la plancetta. Più sottovento di così! Nasi salvi!
Il problema però era il solito relativismo di sopra/sottovento, ovvero che il letto di noi genitori, posto vicino alla calavele, è comunque sottovento alla bombaX; although by day the brain evolved parental filter odors exuded by watertight bulkhead, at night the radioactive molecules saturate the nasal septum, forcing us to dreams and nightmares tormented without end.
...
The company failed, the marriage was a step away from collapse, and since then we are no longer been able to tell a Merlot from a Nero d'Avola.
But the solution arrived lightning and blinding as a short circuit, when everything seemed lost ... I imagine the?
We stopped using diapers

How To Delete Nasza Klasa Profile
Ciao a tutti, amici e marinai,
Dopo attenta ricerca troviamo il "Our" sailmaker to p.to la Cruz and began the Via Crucis.
In May, Italy, to confirm his email Isrrael quote and try to start the cut of the sails.
In September, the sailmaker has not yet responded. The concern is on the horizon.
In early October finally managed to contact him and we started from scratch.
3 weeks after we're back in Venezuela, with the prospect of a month and 2 months in the yard around the islets
pressing the Party. Matthew moves on the wing, moves his head down, but Isrrael jumps, cross, slide, twirl and slips like a squid in hysterics.
escapes the control of the situation ... material still has to come from the U.S. ...
Kudra is now ready and in early December salute, with her handkerchief and tear, the sailmaker who is watching from the shore and seems unable to restrain a laugh, and you know why? Why
myself, driven by trust and sincere affection for the Isrrael sailmaker, has just cleared the balance of the sails! What cunning! "And the award for 2008 fox vaaaaaa Matteoooooo aaaaaaa!"
"Mañana! Mañana you call. Tomorrow I'll call you!
No worries! Tranquilo! "
The end is long and painful Isrrael unwavering in his optimism every day to ensure off balance, sending the sail the next day ... mañana.
passes and finally on 24 January morning I cry for happiness embraced the new sails in gabbiottino forwarder. ... Life is beautiful ....
the "cuenta: 1400 Bolivares por favor"
Aalimortacci the sailmaker and his sisters!
addition insult to injury, as well as the final insult to the tramway
A nice discussion by phone with Isrrael puts an end (not happy) to each other: transportation we pay 50-50%.
What stressssssss. To dispose of us need at least 20 days of pure relaxing view of the beach!
Sails are finally well done and the price / quality ratio is good. Bravo Isrrael, but if you were here with me a slap on the ears I would gladly give you!
But this is Venezuela, after all is not dissimilar to our belpaese.
Ciacciao!
The Best Paparazzi Camera
boat and windsurfing are the two keys that, in these long months of "suffering Caribbean", we finally have the chance to meet some nice Venezuela.
When there are boats in the harbor awaiting the first customer charter and seasonal windsurfing center is easy to get within 100m of the sea sick.
Plus everyone knows everyone here, I'm 44 cats (six in a row with the rest of the two ...) that upwind, surf, dive. I totally fell into the soul of Los Roques.
Our last day in the paradise of Venezuela has been particularly intense for the meetings and opportunities di festa.
Siete fantastici!
E poi chi ricordare in queste righe?
Fernando, Javier, Cholas, Dixi, Frank, Giordana e Alfonzo, Oscar e tutti gli altri.
Grazie ragazzi per averci fatto sentire a casa!
Matteo
